CHARACTER ISN’T TAUGHT, IT’S BORN.
"This story brings to light the reality of war we rarely get a glimpse of. A well written story of what happens behind the lines that we offer never hear about."
"Excellent read...didn’t want it to end! "
"That was great insight into Nick’s character. He is clearly not just an FBI suit with fancy badge."
Nick Lawrence’s near-death experience while serving overseas had a lasting impact, redirecting his life’s path. Join Nick as he leads a small group of Rangers on a support mission for a CIA operation.
This short story gives a glimpse into the Nick’s early days and the defining moment that guided his decision to join the FBI.
Find out why he’s unkillable and the series is unputdownable.
This impressive debut thriller series penned by a former Detective and Naval Officer has endeared the fans of Michael Connelly, David Baldacci, Lee Child, and Vince Flynn.
This prequel short story includes a sample of Kill List, the first full-length novel in the Nick Lawrence series.
Shea gives you a front row seat to the raw emotion of those on the front line. His characters are genuine and are faced with real-world challenges set against a backdrop of a fast-paced thrill ride. His descriptive prose breaks down the technical aspect of the military and police lingo, putting it into plain language for all readers. Shea's original character, Declan Enright, is as relentless as the author who created him. A must read!
Brian Christopher Shea has seamlessly brought together a suspenseful novel about the issues at the forefront of our modern society: the heroin epidemic, terrorism, economics, and the difficulties of raising a family in this day and age. He brings a reality that can only be expressed from a practitioner in the field. The novel is a contrast of true grit and compassion. [Kill List] leaves me wanting to be a better man.
A powerful and gripping novel. The character of Declan Enright is every bit as complex as the times we live in. Written from firsthand experience, Brian Christopher Shea gives us all the rare opportunity to see the internal and external struggles of those individuals who serve in the military and as first responders.
[Kill List] took me on a journey of loss, heartache, resilience and triumph experienced by the characters. Reading it opened my eyes to the hardships law enforcement officials face and gave me a deeper respect for and gratitude to the heroes who risk their lives to protect us every day. Brian Shea also humanized an often stereotyped figure and allowed me to dive into the antagonist's mind and understand what drove him to his fateful decisions. Brian's background in law enforcement gives the well-researched book authenticity. I look forward to reading more of this series.
"Wow! Very fast moving!"
"A good short story"
